Pressure filtration system
Microfiltration pressure filters range.
We produce two basic types of stainless-steel filters, type "1" and the larger type "5". The design of both types is similar, with the exception that type "1" has a smaller capacity and is usually attached directly onto the machine itself. The larger type "5" is always installed stand-alone adjacent to the machine and is connected by rubber hoses.
Pressure filter type „1"
The filter body is cylindrical and has a welded domed bottom containing a screwed-on drain valve, pointing towards the back of the machine. Quarter way up from the bottom of the filter facing towards the front of the machine is a welded outlet pipe. In the middle part of the filter body there is a manometer fitted, to indicating the pressure at the outlet of the filter. On the top of the filter is welded flat metal flange plate with 4 threaded bolt holes. There is a hinged lid which rests on this flange. Under this flange is a fitting to connect the filter inlet pipe. The hinged lid is attached to the secure flange with 4 screws and washers. The top seal of the filter surface is provided by a rubber "O" washer. There is another manometer present on the top of the machine to indicate the inlet pressure this is next to a venting valve. Incorporated into the filter is smaller plastic microfilm filter located under the lid. This microfilm filter is situated in the filter basket to prevent the outlet filter from becoming clogged, Pressure springs are attached at the rim of the microfilm filter for better sealing characteristics. However if this microfilm filter manages to slide out of its situ the filter still functions via the filter basket.
In order to detect if the microfilm filter is clogged up with debris simply look at the Manometers to see if there is a difference between the inlet and outlet values, which should not be greater than 1 Bar.
Pressure filter type „5"

Under this flange is a fitting to connect the filter inlet pipe. The hinged lid is attached to the secure flange with 6 screws and washers.
