Unit for removing solid lubricant from washing fluid.
We regularly receive enquiries if we offer any device capable of washing parts that have a large amount of solid lubricant on them. The initial focus is to be able to remove this lubricant from the surface of the parts being washed. However, it is also important to then be able to get rid of this lubricant out of all the elements of the machine. The sole reason is that when it begins to accumulate in the sump and also in the filters, the lubricant reduces the effectiveness of further cleaning process.
Therefore, the secondary task is to get as much of this residual lubricant out of the wash space and sump as possible. When this is achieved, we maintain high washing efficiency and also extend the life of the washing solution. Regular style Oilskimmers - e.g. belt collectors – are unfortunately not sufficient. After a very short time, they become clogged with solidifying lubricant and become obsolete in this task.
This has led to developing our own device that will withstand these demanding conditions, is neither complicated nor difficult to maintain, and is small enough to be placed in the machine sump. Check out our photos and video below from the initial testing in real heavy-duty conditions.
